Course:

With The River

Nurture kinship with the land through  your practice.

Overview

Join us for an immersive course that introduces Kincraft—a practice that nurtures a deep kinship with both the land and your community. Rooted in ancestral knowledge and sustainable living, Kincraft is about more than just foraging or making; it is a pathway to understanding the profound, reciprocal connection between people, place, and culture.

Throughout this course, you will rediscover how the acts of gathering, crafting, and creating together are ancient practices that foster both human connection and a meaningful relationship with the land. As we forage for natural materials and transform them into handcrafted objects, you’ll experience firsthand how working collaboratively strengthens bonds with one another and with the landscapes that sustain us.

In addition to learning practical skills, you will explore how cultural practices have always been shaped by the land, and how these same practices influence and regenerate the environment. Kincraft emphasizes this reciprocal relationship, encouraging practitioners to actively engage with the land in ways that are sustainable, regenerative, and culturally meaningful.

By the end of the course, you will walk away with more than just crafted objects—you’ll carry with you the shared experience of community effort, a deeper connection to the landscape, and the tools to contribute to a culture of regeneration. This course offers an opportunity to be part of a transformative process, where both land and community are nourished through skill, care, and collective creativity.
