Narrative Mapping
Ethnography focuses on capturing lived experience. Researchers can bias how those stories are interpreted and what they see as significant. Distributed ethnography, then, is a method that lets communities capture their own stories through words, images, and sound to signify and value what matters to them. This then becomes a tool for them to explore, experiment, and encourage the culture, projects and approaches that benefit them.
