I have recently agreed that my research centre will continue to sponsor the Bushcraft Zone at the now (slightly) renamed “Outdoor Xpo”.
Bushcraft is where I started, and it offers a fantastic touchpoint for exploring Traditional Ecological Knowledge. A good friend of mine, and without bias, one of the best in the field, Adam Logan, is part of the exhibitor team I am bringing in this (and hopefully many more) year.
I have been involved with the event for 3-4 years now. It has changed and developed, as has my role. Previously, I exhibited there with my company, which ran courses. As my interests and focus have changed, I now sponsor the area and give others the opportunity to showcase what they can do.
This year I will be speaking on one of the main stages.
